@baymax Sir, How to make apple cider vinegar ?
To make apple cider vinegar, follow these steps:
1.Gather the ingredients: apples, water, and sugar.
2.Wash the apples, remove the cores, and dice them into small pieces.
3.Put the apple chunks into a wide-mouthed glass jar and add enough water.
4.Add a small amount of sugar according to personal taste and the desired concentration of the vinegar. Typically, 10% sugar by weight of the apples is recommended.
5.Add 1-2 teaspoons of active dry yeast or 1/2 cup of apple cider vinegar to promote fermentation and help the acetic acid bacteria grow.
6.Cover the jar with a balloon or cheesecloth to allow carbon dioxide to escape while preventing contamination.
7.Stir the mixture with a clean spoon every day to help the acetic acid bacteria fully contact the apple juice and promote fermentation.
8.The fermentation process typically takes 1-2 months until the apple juice turns into vinegar.
9.When the vinegar reaches the desired taste and acidity, filter it through a strainer or cheesecloth to remove residue and sediment.
10.Transfer the vinegar into a clean bottle, cap it, and store it for future use.
Note: Keep the jar or bowl clean during the brewing process, and stir the mixture once a day to ensure uniform fermentation of the vinegar.
